Champions Cup Wraps Season
The inaugural Champions Cup runs this week in Sherwood Park, Alberta. This invitational Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling event includes winners of various events throughout the season. We were invited by way of our three Grand Slam victories this season.
Here is a list of all the women’s qualified teams and how they got to the Champions Cup.

This is the final event of the 2015-2016 season with 15 teams making the trip to Alberta. TV coverage starts on Thursday on Sportsnet. You can also watch online or follow all scores online here.
Our pool consists of Teams Fujisawa (Japan), Harrison (Ontario), McCarville (N. Ontario) and Sweeting (Alberta). Eight teams across the three pools will make the weekend playoffs.
Our next game is Friday, April 29th at 4:00 p.m. MT against Team Harrison. We have a 2-1 record with wins over Teams Sweeting and McCarville and a loss to Team Fujisawa.
