Day 1 of Team Homan Junior Curling Camp

Day 1 is in the books at our second annual Team Homan Junior Curling Camp.

We've met campers from all across Ontario, Northern Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and even Poland and Japan!  81 campers are joining us at the Ottawa Curling Club for three days of learning, fun and excitement.

On Day 1 we broke the ice - not literally - with games and activities to get our campers comfortable with their two groups and five subgroups.

After a delicious meal of Pinty's we hit the ice and the strategy boards.  Campers shook off the summer dust with a review of technical delivery skills and a friendly two end game and tips from Joanne, Lisa, Adam and Cheryl.

Groups also learned strategy with an in depth session hosted by Rachel and Emma.

Saturday features fitness training and nutrition hosted by our strength trainer Neil Frotten, mental training with Adam and Kyle Paquette, lots of on ice technical skills and the annual Team Homan Ask Us Anything panel!
