EGG FARMERS OF ONTARIO - “2021-22 Team Homan Curling” Contest

OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

2021-22 Team Homan Curling Contest (hereafter referred to as the “Contest”) is intended only for residents of Canada (excluding Quebec). Any entrant must be the age of majority as of October 8, 2021. This Contest will be interpreted according to applicable federal and provincial laws. Team Homan will conduct the contest in partnership with Egg Farmers of Ontario (EFO) and Egg Farmers Rocks & Rings presented by Curling Canada (hereafter referred to as the “Sponsor”) will conduct the Contest. 

THE CONTEST

Contest begins on October 8, 2021 at 12:01 a.m. (ET), and closes on April 17, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. (ET) (the “Closing Contest Date”) (hereafter referred to as the “Contest Period”).  Employees of Team Homan, Egg Farmers of Ontario, Egg Farmers Rocks & Rings presented by Curling Canada its associated members, affiliated companies including farmers, processors, advertising and promotion agencies and the independent judging organization and those with whom such employees are domiciled are not eligible to participate in this Contest.

To enter, visit Team Homan’s official Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/teamhoman), Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/team_homan/), or Twitter (https://twitter.com/teamhoman) pages and scroll through the feed to find the Official Contest Photo. User must follow the Egg Farmers of Ontario account and Egg Farmers Rocks & Rings presented by Curling Canada account, and tag a friend in the comments. There will be an opportunity to submit bonus entries based on the request of the contest videos posted throughout contest period. There is a limit of one (1) tag per comment and unlimited entries will be accepted.

All entries are subject to verification. Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to require proof of identity and/or eligibility (in a form acceptable to the Contest Sponsor) to participate in the Contest. Failure to provide such proof in a timely manner may result in disqualification. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to remove any content that is or could be considered inappropriate, unsuitable, or offensive, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion.

By entering this Contest, entrants agree to be bound by the decisions of the Contest Sponsor, which are final and binding without right of appeal with respect to all matters relating to the Contest.

GRAND PRIZE

There will be one (1) Grand Prize winner selected at random. Each prize winner will receive an Egg package valued at approximately $200, which includes a gift card worth the equivalent value of one carton of one dozen white eggs per week, for the duration of 52 weeks. The prize will include one (1) thirty (30) minute video call with all members of Team Homan. The prize will also include a FloorCurl Starter Set autographed by all member of Team Homan (valued at $600). The prize will be delivered to the winner by the Sponsor upon the conclusion of the Contest. Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery of the prize. Prizes must be accepted as awarded without substitution, are not for resale and have no cash surrender value. The Sponsor reserves the right, in the event that a Prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason, to substitute another prize or prize component for a prize or a prize component of equal or greater value, without liability.

PRIZE WINNER NOTIFICATION

In order to be awarded a Grand Prize, a potential winner must be in compliance with these Official Contest Rules and Regulations. The selected prize winner will be notified via Facebook, Instagram or Twitter message by the Team Homan account and will be required to correctly answer a mathematical skill testing question. If the selected prize winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond or answer the skill testing question within 3 business days or otherwise fails to comply with these Contest rules, he/she will forfeit their prize and a new winner will be selected. Prize winner selections are final and without appeal in all matters related to the Contest and the awarding of a prize.

GENERAL

This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. By entering the Contest, participants agree to be bound by these official rules and by the decisions of the independent administration and judging organization, which shall be final with respect to all matters relating to this Contest. Sponsor will not sell or transmit any entrant personal information to third parties except for the purposes of administering the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to terminate, suspend or amend contest without liability subject to applicable laws. If for any reason, the online portion of this Contest is not capable of being completed as planned including, but not limited to computer virus, bugs, tampering, technical failures or other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor, the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Contest or to modify the Contest rules.   Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.

The eligible Grand Prize winner agrees to cooperate in any investigations by or on behalf of Sponsor to confirm their eligibility and to help ensure that the use of any such potential winner in advertising or publicity for the Contest will not bring the Sponsor into public disrepute, contempt, scandal or ridicule or reflect unfavourably on the Contest or the Sponsor as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion.
