October recap

October was a good month, with semi-final finishes at the Curler's Corner Autumn Gold Curling Classic and the Challenge Chateau Cartier de Gatineau. During the Gatineau spiel, we were joined by our fifth, Heather Smith-Dacey, and it was great to rotate her into the lineup for a few games. We continue to practice daily and build for the Roar of the Rings Canadian Curling Trials, which are just a few weeks away.

Next for Team Homan is the Masters of Curling in Abbotsford, British Columbia. The event runs October 29 to November 3 at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre. We're looking forward to playing on arena ice against some great competition. Sportsnet will be carrying some of the games live on television.
