Champions in Vernon

We picked up our first World Curling Tour trophy of the season after a perfect stop in Vernon, B.C. this past weekend.

The Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic included 20 teams from across Canada, U.S.A. and Asia in a round robin format.  We picked up five wins to enter the playoffs where we had close games against Teams Roth (USA) and Kleibrink (Alberta).

In Sunday night's final we faced Korea's Team Gim where we emerged with a 10-4 victory and our first championship of the season.

We wanted to personally thank Prestige Hotels & Resorts along with Dave Merklinger for the fantastic Okanagan hospitality.  We appreciate the volunteers and organizers who put many hours into events like this to ensure they're a great success.

Our western road trip continues for another week.

Our next stop on the World Curling Tour is in Calgary over Thanksgiving.  The Curler's Corner Autumn Gold Curling Classic starts Friday, October 6th at the Calgary Curling Club.

This is our first return to the annual event since winning it in 2015.
