A new season begins

Fall is still a few weeks away but a new season has already begun - curling season.

Our full 2018-2019 season schedule has just been released and includes stops across Ontario, Alberta, Newfoundland and Labrador, the Maritimes, Prairies and Las Vegas.

Our first event took us all the way around the globe to Suzhou, China where we captured the inaugural Curling World Cup first leg event while representing Canada.

As part of the event we spent time in Shanghai working with our new title sponsor Canada Beef and Team Koe to showcase Canadian Beef.  Check out the photo collection from the fun day with Team Koe and local foodies in China’s largest city.

After winning our four country pool we advanced to the championship final where we defeated Sweden’s Team Hasselborg 7-3.

From China we'll return to our home club to host our third annual Team Homan Junior Curling Camp.  The three day camp will draw 80 junior curlers from across North America.  We'll be joined by guest instructors Matt Hamilton (2018 Olympic Gold Medalist) of the U.S. and our former coaches Earle Morris and Adam Kingsbury.

Our season would not be possible without the generous and continued support of our corporate partners.  We encourage curling fans to support the people who back us on and off the ice.

We proudly announced our new coach for the 2018-2019 season. Three-time world and four-time Brier champion Marcel Rocque will return to the bench. Marcel worked with us in the 2015 season when we won the Canada Cup of Curling along with three Grand Slam of Curling titles in a row - an unprecedented run in women’s curling.

Look for a couple more announcements and reveals in the coming weeks as we continue training and preparing for another big season.
