We’ve captured three Masters titles over the last six years of the event, including 2015 in Truro, Nova Scotia.

Last week we faced off against some of the best teams in the world at the Rath Eastlink Arena for a round robin ahead of the weekend playoffs at the 2018 Canadian Beef Masters.

We got off to a solid start with three wins over Teams Fleury, Tirinzoni and Einarson. We dropped our final round robin game against Team Kaitlyn Jones.

In the playoffs we advanced through the quarterfinals and semifinals with wins over Teams Robertson and Carey.

In the championship final we faced Team Hasselborg. We came up just short against the Swedish team, losing 8-7.

Fans had the opportunity to meet us and Team Koe in the Social House on Thursday evening thanks to our friends at Canadian Beef. We enjoyed the opportunity to talk about our experiences on and off the ice while grabbing some delicious beef after our Thursday game.

We wanted to send a big thank you to all of the fans and community of Truro for making our stay in their town another memorable one.

This was our second Grand Slam of the season, after a quarterfinals finish in Chatham-Kent at the Elite 10.

Lisa reflected on the importance of the series to women’s curling last week in a blog post for the Grand Slam of Curling.

We each ventured into the writing world this week with blog posts for the GSOC.

Joanne detailed her recent successful weekend with her dad in mixed doubles. Emma let fans in on how we spend our days on the Grand Slam - when we’re not on the ice.

On Friday Rachel capped off our blogging for the GSOC by detailing the last time we were in Truro and all of the drama that ensued. It’s a must read!
